Our work
Ensuring equitable and sustainable access to adequate iodine nutrition for everyone
Our workIGN’s experienced support team of Regional and National Coordinators work to identify gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities in regional efforts and national programs through evidence-based strategic direction and roadmapping.
IGN has had a significant impact in more than 40 countries, leading to improved iodine status, regulation, and advocacy, as well as identifying approaches for iodine-deficient countries and exploring the role of processed foods in improving iodine nutrition.
